Music is essential to the Temple Beth Am community. Under the direction of Cantor David Wolff, Temple Beth Am is a singing community! Our Shabbat and holiday services are suffused with uplifting, participatory, beautiful Jewish music. Our monthly Shabbat Hallelu services feature our volunteer choir and Hallelu band. Our community prays with a huge diversity of Jewish music – from traditional melodies to Debbie Friedman, Noah Aronson, and Nava Tehila.
Whether we are celebrating joyous Simchas, or praying for those in need, music helps us to express emotions that words alone cannot always capture. Jewish music elevates our prayers, and brings us closer to God. Music is holy; it heightens our spiritual connection to our community, to ourselves, and to our history.
Music is an important part of our holiday celebrations. You can experience the 5783 Purim spiel – a Middle East Side Story
