Temple
Beth Am's 2006 Brotherhood Basketball League season is now in full swing.
It began on January 8th, and was truly a sight to see -- 275 boys & girls
from the Greater Metrowest community playing 15 games on Sunday afternoon,
using 3 gyms at Framingham High School. |

|
The
League has been in operation for over 35 years. Since its inception
it has offered youngsters from the Metrowest area in grades 5-12 the
opportunity to learn and play basketball in a fun and safe environment.
Every child who wants to play in the League gets a chance to play. At
all levels, all kids, regardless of ability, play a minimum number of
minutes. At the younger ages, the teams practice once a week, and coaches
and referees take time during the games to review fundamentals with
the players.

Every year the Basketball League looks for coaches who enjoy working with
youth as well as team sponsors to help defray League operating costs and
support the TBA Basketball scholarship program. If you would like to help,
please contact League Directors Len Brenner at 508-877-3365, or Rich Steckloff
at 508-320-6543 |

If
you would like to see the league in action, come to the Framingham High
School gym on Sunday afternoons, February 5th, 12th, or 26th. Playoff
games are scheduled in March, and the Championship game and awards banquet
will be held on March 19.
