TBA Networking

TBA Networking is a free networking group that is not only offered by the temple to its members, but also to members of the Metro West community who live and/or work in the area.

The group meets informally once a month at Temple Beth Am and anyone who is interested and meets one of the three criteria (member of the temple, or lives or works in the Metro West area) is welcome to join.

Steve Aronson
Steven’s company, High Performance Learning, Inc. (HPL) is seeking connections with senior level executives, managers and/or senior level human resource managers at companies with 100 plus employees.  HPL is a management and employee training company that helps clients improve their sales and profits; reduce waste and inefficiencies and help managers and employees to improve teamwork, productivity and performance.  His company mainly works with companies in the high tech, manufacturing, healthcare and financial service sectors, but HPL’s training programs and consulting services can be adapted to assist other kinds of businesses.  Steve can help his clients (who do not have large training budgets address their training needs) to apply for and obtain state and/or federal training grants.

or, on arrangement, hand-delivered.  Connections to liquor stores and floral shops that need to send out gift baskets but do not have the capability of doing it themselves are good referrals as well as nursing homes and assisted living facilities.

Ellie Deaner
Ellie Deaner is looking for individuals and businesses who are interested in both private and group cooking lessons.  She is also promoting gift certificates for private cooking lessons to be given as wedding, shower or graduation presents.  Group cooking classes are perfect for showers or bachelorette parties. On the corporate side, Ellie gives Lunchtime Seminars on “Quick and Healthy Cooking” which give employees help in preparing healthier and more economical meals at home.  She also presents Culinary Team Building Events, which are generally held offsite.   She is currently looking for a site closer to Boston

to hold these events that can accommodate 25 plus people cooking with an adjoining space for eating.  Connecting Ellie with HR directors, project managers, fitness center directors or anyone else in positions that plan events for their employees is a good connection for her business, "Let’s Get Cooking™".

Nelson Zide
Nelson is looking for three kinds of people:  The first are those individuals who would like to become a real estate agent, work in the industry and earn their salary by selling directly to the buyer.  The second are those who aren’t necessarily interested in selling real estate but would like the benefit of commissions.  He has a “referral” program where by the individual still becomes a real estate agent, does not sell homes but instead gives the referral to Nelson’s company and he, in turn, pays the individual a commission if the referral buyer actually buys a property.  And the third individual Nelson is looking for are naturally those people looking to buy or sell real estate.
